The Push Project: Part II of a Series - March 7th & 8th, 2013


 

"I never thought I was going to miss being a pastry chef but I do sometimes. The time I spent making desserts felt extremely free and after two years deep in the restaurant game I want to take a second and relive that.

For round II of The Push Project I am extremely excited to be working with Chef Jordan Kahn of Red Medicine.

Jordan and I used to work together and he is one of my closest friends. He also happens to be a freakishly talented chef that makes some of the most delicious and visually stunning food I have ever seen. 

Jordan used to be a pastry cook at The French Laundry and Per Se before arriving at Alinea where we first met. There was no position for him by the time he showed up but he wanted in so badly that he agreed to becoming a food runner there instead and patiently waited until a spot opened up for him. 

That time spent working with Jordan was one of the most creatively intense that I have ever experienced. It was about nothing other than trying to push ourselves to do something brand new every single day."

On March 7th & 8th, The Push Project Presents part II of a Series:
Jordan Kahn and Alex Stupak will be preparing 9 courses that reflect what they are thinking about now but also what they were thinking about then. 

The menu will be a combination of savory & sweet, with a few extra desserts on the tail end.  

We will offer two seatings for $125 per person. 
- First Seating will be anytime between 6 & 7:15 PM
- Second Seating will be anytime between 8:30 & 9:45 PM
